Spurs look to rebound at Kings

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) - The San Antonio Spurs look to bounce back from a disappointing loss when they visit the Sacramento Kings on Monday.

After the contest was tied at the half, San Antonio was dominated in the second half, dropping a 106-85 decision at the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. The Spurs were outscored, 53-32, over the final 24 minutes

Tony Parker had 20 points and Tim Duncan added 16 and 14 rebounds in the loss, which was San Antonio's third in its last five games.

The setback put the Lakers (56-25) in first place of the Western Conference and dropped the Spurs into fifth place in the crowded standings with just two games remaining.

The Kings, who have won two straight, will try and play spoiler again after defeating New Orleans, 94-91 on Saturday.

Ron Artest returned from a two-game absence to score 22 points and John Salmons added 18 and 11 rebounds for Sacramento, which is 26-14 at home this season.

San Antonio is 2-1 against Sacramento this season, winning both of the meetings at home.
