Blazers open road trip at streaking Magic

Nov 10, 2008 - 5:47 AM Portland (3-3) at Orlando (4-2), 7:00 pm EST

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- The Portland Trail Blazers look to solve their road woes on Monday when they visit the Orlando Magic.

Portland, which is opening a five-game road trip, has won its first three home games this season but has dropped all three of its road contests.

The Blazers also struggled away from home last season, going 13-28 on the road, and will need to improve on that mark if they hope to make the postseason.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 24 points and 13 rebounds in Portland's 97-93 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday.

Orlando, which is wrapping up a five-game homestand, has erased an 0-2 start with four straight wins.

Dwight Howard has five double-doubles this season and leads the team with 20.2 points and 13.2 rebounds per contest. The reigning Slam Dunk champion had 31 points and 16 rebounds in the Magic's 106-81 victory over the Washington Wizards on Saturday.

Orlando has swept the last two season series.
