Kings look for complete game vs. Jazz

Dec 2, 2008 - 3:12 PM Utah (11-7) at Sacramento (5-14), 10:00 pm EST

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- The Sacramento Kings hung with the Utah Jazz for one half in their last meeting, but would have been better off staying in the locker room for the third quarter.

Sacramento looks to snap a six-game home losing streak and avenge a blowout loss just four days ago when they host Utah on Tuesday.

After entering halftime knotted at 50-50, the Jazz erupted for 44 points to cruise to a 120-94 victory last Friday over the Kings. The offensive outbreak for Utah can be attributed in part to the return of its All-Star point guard.

Deron Williams followed an 11-point, 15-assist performance in his return from a sprained left ankle with 13 points and 15 assists in just 27 minutes against Sacramento.

However, the Jazz are coming off Saturday's 105-88 loss to the Nets. Williams recorded his third straight double-double with 10 points and 13 assists, but Utah allowed New Jersey to shoot 52 percent (40-of-77) in the loss.

Home-court advantage is not a concept the Kings have embraced lately, dropping six straight after opening the season with three consecutive wins at Arco Arena.

The Kings have lost six straight overall as well, including back-to-back blowout losses. Sacramento followed the loss to Utah with a 101-78 loss to Dallas on Saturday.

Beno Udrih collected 13 points, nine rebounds and seven assists as Sacramento lost for the ninth time in 10 games. The Kings have been without leading scorer Kevin Martin, who has missed the last 11 games due to a sprained left ankle.
