Clippers turning corner on dismal start

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- After a dismal start to the season, the Los Angeles Clippers are showing signs of life.

The Clippers go for their fourth straight win on Wednesday when they visit the Chicago Bulls.

With several new players in tow, including Baron Davis, who was signed as a free agent during the offseason, Los Angeles struggled to find chemistry in the early going, stumbling to a 3-16 start.

However, the Clippers have won four of their last five games and recorded their first three-game win streak by claiming a 98-88 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday.

Davis had 19 points, seven assists and five steals during the win while Zach Randolph, who was acquired from the New York Knicks on November 21, registered his fourth consecutive double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds.

The Clippers hope to continue their recent success in a place where they have had no trouble finding wins. Los Angeles has won seven of its last eight games at the United Center, including each of the last four meetings.

The Bulls are 8-3 at home and are looking to forget about a dismal loss on Tuesday.

Chicago was outscored 16-7 in overtime en route to a 110-101 loss to the Charlotte Bobcats, who had lost each of their previous seven games.
