Coming off big game, Stuckey leads Pistons vs. Thunder

Dec 26, 2008 - 11:22 AM Oklahoma City (3-26) at Detroit (15-11), 8:00 p.m. EST

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) -- Rodney Stuckey looks to build off his career game when he leads the Detroit Pistons against the woeful Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday.

Stuckey scored a career-high 40 points on 15-of-24 shooting to help Detroit defeat the Chicago Bulls, 104-98, on Tuesday. His outburst came one day after just his second 20-point game of the season.

The second-year guard's big night helped make up for Allen Iverson's off-game. Iverson scored five points but did not hit a field goal in the contest for the second time in his career.

The Pistons are 11-11 since acquiring Iverson but may not need to be at their best against the Thunder, who have dropped six straight road contests and are 1-13 away from home this season.

Kevin Durant scored 28 points to post his fifth straight game with at least 25, but the Thunder suffered a 99-88 setback at the Atlanta Hawks in the opener of a three-game road trip on Tuesday.
