DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Dallas Mavericks ended 2008 with the largest comeback in franchise history. They're hoping for a little less stress as they kick off 2009.

Dallas eyes its third straight win when it hosts the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.

The Mavericks, who have won five of their past six, trailed 70-41 early in the third quarter before rallying for a 107-100 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. The 29-point comeback was the largest in team history.

Jason Terry scored 29 points and Dirk Nowitzki added 24 and 13 rebounds for Dallas.

Andre Iguodala had 28 points as Philadelphia snapped a four-game losing streak with a 100-92 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.

Thaddeus Young added 20 points and Andre Miller chipped in 15 and nine assists for Philadelphia, which is 1-3 on its season-long six-game road trip.
