Road-savvy Magic look for fourth straight victory

Jan 11, 2009 - 2:29 PM Orlando (29-8) at San Antonio (24-11), 8:30 p.m. EST

SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) -- The Orlando Magic keep finding ways to make their mark in the rough waters of the Eastern Conference.

Seeking their fourth straight victory, the Magic look to continue their prowess on the road when they visit the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.

Orlando is coming off a convincing 121-87 triumph over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday, winning for the 12th time in its last 14 games.

The Magic own the NBA's best road record (13-5) but will surely be put to the test against the Spurs, who own a respectable 14-6 mark at AT&T Center.

After an uncharacteristically slow start to the season, San Antonio has bounced back to win 22 of its last 28 contests - establishing itself, yet again, as a team to be reckoned with in the West.

The Spurs are coming off a 106-84 drubbing of the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday and enter this contest with favorable history on their side. They have come out on top in 14 of the last 16 matchups against the Magic in San Antonio.
