After wild win, Kings host Bucks

Jan 16, 2009 - 11:35 AM Milwaukee (19-22) at Sacramento (10-30) 10:00 p.m. EST

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- The Sacramento Kings hope to build on the momentum of a marathon win when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

John Salmons finished with 25 points and 14 rebounds and Brad Miller had a season-high 30 and 22 as the Kings posted a wild 135-133 triple-overtime victory over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.

Salmons drained a desperation baseline jumper with 1.6 seconds left to finally put Sacramento on top for good and send the team to its first road victory since November 19, a span of 12 games away from Arco Arena.

The Kings go for their third win in four games overall against the Bucks, who are struggling to find consistency.

Milwaukee has alternated wins and losses over its last 12 games and has not earned back-to-back victories since winning three straight games from December 19-23.

Rookie Joe Alexander, whose basket with 16 seconds left allowed the Bucks to pull within a point for the first time since the first half, missed a 3-pointer in the final seconds on Wednesday as Milwaukee endured a 102-99 loss to the Miami Heat.

Luke Ridnour scored a season-high 25 points, his highest output since December 26, 2006, when he scored 27 as a member of the franchise formerly known as the Seattle SuperSonics.
