Sliding Pistons host Hornets

Jan 17, 2009 - 11:24 AM New Orleans (23-13) at Detroit (22-16), 7:30 p.m. EST

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) -- Since getting Rasheed Wallace and Richard Hamilton back in the lineup, the Detroit Pistons have not found their way into the win column.

Detroit will try and snap a season-high, four-game losing streak on Saturday when it hosts the New Orleans Hornets.

Wallace (foot) missed four games and Hamilton (groin) was out for eight contests, but Detroit has yet to win with the duo. Wallace returned in the first loss during the skid at Utah on January 10, while Hamilton was back the next game - a home loss to Charlotte.

The Pistons are coming off an 89-79 setback to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday as Kevin Durant scored 32 points.

Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince each had 18 points for Detroit.

New Orleans fell to Cleveland, 92-78, on Friday - its third loss in five games.

David West scored 23 points and Chris Paul had 18 and six assists for the Hornets, who only shot 37 percent (25-of-67) from the field.
