James, Cavs try to end road slump against Blazers

Jan 21, 2009 - 11:24 AM Cleveland (31-8) at Portland (25-16) 10:00 p.m. EST

PORTLAND, Oregon (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers have been unstoppable at home. However, that success has not translated to the road recently.

The Cavaliers try to reverse their struggles away from home when they visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

Cleveland has won all 20 games at Quicken Loans Arena this season but has lost four of its last five contests on the road, including Monday's 105-88 setback to the Los Angeles Lakers in the opener of a four-game swing.

LeBron James was limited to 23 points on 9-of-25 shooting from the field as the Cavaliers were outscored 56-38 in the second half.

James will need an improved performance against the Trail Blazers, who earned their second win in three games during a 102-85 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.

Greg Oden, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft who missed all of last season after undergoing microfracture surgery on his right knee, had the best performance of his career against the Bucks, recording highs of 24 points and 15 rebounds.
