James, Cavaliers aim for another road win

Jan 24, 2009 - 11:34 AM Cleveland (33-8) at Utah (25-18) 9:00 p.m. EST

SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Fresh off a buzzer-beating win, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers look strong as ever.

The Cavaliers will be aiming for another road victory when they face the Utah Jazz on Saturday.

Dazzling at home with a 20-0 record, Cleveland has been solid on the road, posting a 13-8 record. The latest of those road wins came on Friday in Golden State when the normally defensive-minded Cavaliers got the better of the Warriors, 106-105.

After Stephen Jackson's jumper with six seconds left put Golden State ahead, 105-104, Cleveland called a timeout to set up a play for James. The superstar swingman could not get into the lane but stepped back for a 19-foot jumper, nailing the shot for the win at the buzzer.

James finished with 32 points, nine rebounds and eight assists and added a pair of blocks and three steals.

The Jazz, like the Cavaliers, are dominant at home, owning an 18-3 record at EnergySolutions Arena. They have won seven in a row here.

Utah is coming off a 108-99 loss at Houston on Wednesday despite 32 points from guard Deron Williams. Already missing All-Star forward Carlos Boozer, the Jazz were without forward Andrei Kirilenko due to a sore right ankle.

Kirilenko received a cortisone after Tuesday's game and is considered day-to-day.
