Lakers return home eyeing seventh straight win

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The Los Angeles Lakers return home from a memorable road trip looking for a breather. However, the Oklahoma City Thunder are no longer the pushovers they were earlier this season.

Los Angeles goes for its seventh straight win when it hosts the Thunder on Tuesday.

The Lakers went 6-0 on their trek, snapping the Boston Celtics' 12-game winning streak and handing the Cleveland Cavaliers their first home loss in 24 games.

Kobe Bryant scored a Madison Square Garden-record 61 points in the Lakers' 126-117 victory over the New York Knicks on the road trip.

With Bryant battling the flu, Lamar Odom stepped up and had 28 points and 17 rebounds as Los Angeles won, 101-91 at Cleveland on Sunday. Pau Gasol added 18, 12 and six assists.

Oklahoma City is seeking its season-high third straight win after posting a 116-113 victory over Sacramento on Sunday. The Thunder are 10-9 in their last 19 games.

Kevin Durant scored 39 points for Oklahoma City, which is 3-20 on the road this season.
