76ers hope to stay above .500 vs. Nets

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia 76ers look to snap a three-game slide and stay above .500 when they visit the New Jersey Nets on Monday.

Philadelphia has followed up a four-game winning streak with its current slide, marking its fourth losing streak this season of at least three games. The Sixers have four winning streaks of at least three games, but have not yet managed to climb more than three games above .500.

Andre Miller scored a career-high 30 points at Miami on Saturday, but it was not enough to avoid a 97-91 loss. Philadelphia shot just 37 percent in the setback, including 4-of-18 from beyond the arc.

Andre Iguodala had a particularly rough afternoon, going 4-of-16 from the floor for 14 points. He is just 5-of-22 over the last two games.

The Nets are in the midst of a slide of their own, dropping their last five games.

New Jersey's most embarrassing loss in that skid came at home against the Washington Wizards, who own the worst record in the Eastern Conference, on Friday. The Nets hit 7-of-29 3-pointers and were outrebounded 54-41 in the 107-96 loss.
