James, Cavaliers conclude trip against Wade, Heat

MIAMI (Ticker) -- The NBA's top two scorers go head-to-head Monday when LeBron James leads the Cleveland Cavaliers to face Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat.

James is second in the league in scoring at 28.3 points per game, while Wade leads the league at 29.0 per contest.

Cleveland is coming off consecutive wins as it wraps up its four-game road trip.

The Cavaliers edged the Atlanta Hawks, 88-87, on Sunday as James made the second of two free throws with 1.6 seconds on the clocks. James finished with 26 points and 11 assists in the win.

The Heat, who have alternated wins and losses over their past nine games, are coming off a 120-115 come-from-behind victory over the New York Knicks on Saturday.

Wade, who suffered a cut on his lip during the win, scored 24 of his 46 points in the fourth quarter, including 15 during a 19-0 burst to lead Miami to the win. The Knicks held a 98-83 advantage after three quarters.

The teams have split the two previous meetings this season.
