Mavericks eye fourth straight win

Mar 2, 2009 - 6:19 AM Dallas (36-23) at Oklahoma City (14-45), 8:00 p.m. EST

OKLAHOMA CITY (Ticker) -- The Dallas Mavericks look to extend their winning streak to four games when they visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday.

Dirk Nowitzki led five players in double figures with 24 points as Dallas posted a 109-98 triumph over Toronto on Sunday.

Jason Kidd had 15 assists to become the fourth player in NBA history to notch more than 10,000 for his career. He has 10,002.

The Mavericks will also be going for their second win in four days against the Thunder, who lost in Dallas, 110-108, on Friday in overtime.

Oklahoma City also lost leading scorer Kevin Durant to a sprained right ankle in that setback, but the Thunder won their first game without him, 99-92, over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.

Jeff Green had 27 points and 10 rebounds and rookie Russell Westbrook added 25 points to lead the Thunder, who are expected to be without Durant for up to two weeks. The 20-year-old budding star is averaging 26.0 points per game.
