James, Wade square off again when Cavaliers face Heat

Mar 7, 2009 - 11:20 AM Miami (33-28) at Cleveland (48-13) 7:30 p.m. EST

CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- LeBron James and Dwyane Wade will look to provide another classic battle when the Cleveland Cavaliers face the Miami Heat on Saturday.

The top two scorers in the NBA, James and Wade combined for 83 points when the teams met on Monday. James' 42 edged Wade's 41 and the Cavaliers were slightly better than the Heat, taking a 107-100 victory.

Miami held an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter but shot 2-of-19 over the final 7:52. James also had the benefit having the better wingman, as Mo Williams chipped in 15 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter.

Cleveland is coming off a 105-94 loss at Boston that dropped them into a tie for first place in the Eastern Conference. James was held to 21 points on 5-of-15 shooting.

The Heat have won back-to-back games for the first time since January and are coming off a 108-102 win at Toronto on Friday. Wade scored 42 points in the contest and has poured in 36 or more in each of the last four games.

The Cavaliers have won two of three meetings this season.
