76ers aim to get back in win column vs. Grizzlies

Mar 7, 2009 - 11:20 AM Philadelphia (29-30) at Memphis (16-44) 8:00 p.m. EST

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Losers of six of eight since the All-Star break, the Philadelphia 76ers will look to get back on track Saturday when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies.

After entering the All-Star break on a four-game winning streak, the 76ers have fallen below .500 following back-to-back home losses to Orlando and New Orleans.

Andre Iguodala scored a season-high 30 points and Andre Miller had 28 as Philadelphia dropped a 98-91 contest to the Hornets on Monday. Coming off a four-day layoff, the 76ers hope a visit to a bottom-feeder in the Western Conference will serve as a remedy for their woes.

Memphis halted its eight-game losing streak Wednesday with a 118-95 rout of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Rudy Gay scored a season-high 25 points and the Grizzles outscored the Clippers, 66-42, after halftime en route to the easy win.

The Grizzlies, who are averaging a Western Conference-worst 93.6 points per game, posted a season-high points total against the Clippers.
