Sixers look to climb back over .500 mark
Mar 8, 2009 - 1:59 PM Philadelphia (30-30) at Oklahoma City (16-46) 7:00 p.m. EDTOKLAHOMA CITY (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia 76ers' home floor hasn't been doing them any favors lately. It's a good thing, then, that they remain on the road on Sunday night.
Having dropped three straight at home but won three straight on the road, the Sixers visit the Oklahoma City Thunder as they look to get back over the .500 mark and perhaps gain more ground in the Eastern Conference playoff standings.
The Sixers used a 10-2 run in the fourth quarter to surge ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies en route to a 110-105 victory. Andre Miller collected 20 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in the win.
Philadelphia is within a half-game of No. 6 Detroit (31-30) in the East.
The Thunder, meanwhile, saw their three-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday, as they shot just 40 percent and were torched by another stellar effort from All-Star point guard Chris Paul.
