Jazz shoot for lucky 13 against Hawks

Mar 11, 2009 - 6:16 AM Utah (41-23) at Atlanta (36-28) 7:00 p.m. EDT

ATLANTA (Ticker) -- The Utah Jazz are the hottest team in the NBA and will be going for their 13th straight win when they take on the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.

The Jazz's streak reached 12 on Tuesday with a 112-100 victory at Indiana - marking their fourth road win of the current surge. Atlanta is the third stop on a five-game trip that will send Utah through Eastern Conference powers Miami and Orlando before it heads home.

Carlos Boozer has gone in and out of the lineup with an ankle injury during the streak, but Deron Williams, Paul Millsap and Mehmet Okur have each taken turns picking up the slack.

Okur led the way with 24 against the Pacers while Millsap added 22 and nine rebounds for the Jazz, who forced 22 turnover in the contest.

The Hawks have won two in a row, holding the Pistons and Hornets to an average of 81 points.

Utah has already beaten Atlanta once during its streak, earning a 108-89 victory in Salt Lake City on February 23.
