Shaw's 3-pointers lead UNLV past Weber State 72-63
Dec 18, 2009 - 5:23 AM LAS VEGAS(AP) -- Matt Shaw scored 16 points and Chace Stanback added 15 to lead UNLV over Weber State 72-63 on Thursday night.Shaw was 4 of 6 from 3-point range while Stanback had five rebounds and four blocks for UNLV (9-1). Oscar Bellfield scored 10 points along with eight assists.
Kyle Bullinger scored a game-high 21 points to lead Weber State (5-5). He was 5 of 8 from 3-point range and was 1-point short of tying his career scoring high.
UNLV shot 25 of 53 (47 percent) from the field, while the Wildcats were 20 of 55 (36 percent). The Rebels were 10 of 23 from 3-point range (44 percent), while Weber State was 10 of 24 (42 percent).
UNLV had a season-high nine blocks.
