Milwaukee turns back Wright State 67-61 in OT

Jan 17, 2010 - 4:16 AM MILWAUKEE, Wis.(AP) -- Deonte Roberts and Ricky Franklin scored 18 points apiece Saturday as Wisconsin-Milwaukee beat Wright State 67-61 in overtime.

Franklin hit a 3-pointer with 2:14 left in overtime to put Milwaukee (11-8, 3-4 Horizon) on top 59-57 in overtime. After Cooper Land hit a pair of free throws to tie it up for Wright State (11-8, 4-4), Franklin hit 1 of 2 free throws and James Eayrs followed with a 3-pointer with 1:12 remaining to put the Panthers on top for good.

Eayrs finished with 14 points. Anthony Hill added 12 points and 10 rebounds for Milwaukee.

Troy Tabler had 18 points and Vaughn Duggins 15 for Wright State.

Both teams had a chance to win it in regulation. With the score tied 53-53, each committed a turnover before Milwaukee got the ball with :01 left and Franklin missed a 3-pointer.
