Lamar holds off McNeese State for 79-78 win
Jan 16, 2010 - 10:56 PM BEAUMONT, Texas(AP) -- Anthony Miles had 25 points and nine rebounds and Justin Nabors added 20 points as Lamar held off McNeese State for a 79-78 victory on Saturday.McNeese State's C.J. Collins missed a potential game-tying free throw with a second remaining. He was fouled on a 3-point attempt and made the first two free throws.
Kendrick Harris had 18 points for the Cardinals (10-8, 2-1 Southland).
P.J. Alawoya and Patrick Richard had 14 points each to lead McNeese State (5-11, 0-2), which had five players score in double figures.
Collins had 13 points and nine assists.
