Cal State Fullerton wins 113-112 3OT

Feb 14, 2010 - 6:30 AM LOS ANGELES(AP) -- Gerard Anderson scored 11 of his career-high 25 points in the third overtime as Cal State Fullerton defeated Cal State Northridge 113-112 in Big West Conference play on Saturday night.

In triple overtime, the Titans (13-11, 7-5) trailed 112-109 with four-seconds left. The Matadors (9-16, 4-7) fouled the Titans, in order to not allow a three-pointer. Anderson made the first, and missed the second intentionally. Titans' Eric Williams grabbed the rebound and scored the tying basket and was fouled wqith 3.2 seconds left. He made the free throw to win the game.

Titan's Devon Peltier hit a 3 with four-seconds remaining to tie the game 76-76 and send it into overtime.

With just 1:33 left in double-overtime the Matadors trailed by five when Vincent Cordell hit a 3-pointer to cut the lead down to two. The Titans then turned the ball over and fouled Cordell while he was shooting another 3. He made all three free throws and gave his team a one point lead with 1:00 left. Trailing by three, Jacques Streeter hit a 3-pointer with 8-seconds left to send the game into triple overtime.

Kenny Daniles led the Matadors with 25 points.
