A transfer from Texas Tech, Martin attempts to continue his terrific play for the 19th-ranked Tigers, who open the Hispanic College Fund Classic on Wednesday against Wright State.
Martin made his first five 3-pointers and finished 7-of-9 from the floor to score 19 points for LSU, which won for the fifth time in seven contests in Saturday's 68-52 triumph over Louisiana Tech.
Despite making just 4-of-11 shots, Glen Davis sank 15-of-18 free throws and finished with 23 points and 14 rebounds for the Tigers, who also face Mississippi Valley State and Samford in the round-robin tournament.
DaShaun Wood leads Wright State in scoring (17.9) and has reached the 20-point plateau in three of his last four outings. He scored a season-high 25 - including a pair of free throws with 5.4 seconds left - in Thursday's 63-62 win over Chicago State.
Vaughn Duggins scored 15 points and Jordan Pleiman added 11 for the Raiders, who have won two straight games and three of their last five. Wright State is 2-4 away from home and needs one road victory to match last season's total.
This will be the first meeting between the two schools.
