Fazekas, No. 15 Nevada host Boise State in WAC matchup

RENO, Nevada (Ticker) -- Nick Fazekas and Nevada have been the class of the Western Athletic Conference for quite some time.

The 15th-ranked Wolf Pack aim for their seventh straight victory Monday when they host conference rival Boise State.

The three-time defending league champion, Nevada (13-1, 1-0 WAC) won its sixth straight in Saturday's conference opener, an 81-55 triumph over Idaho.

Marcelus Kemp led the Wolf Pack with 22 points while Nick Fazekas, the two-time conference Player of the Year, finished with 19 points. Fazekas has again been very solid this season, averaging 20.8 points per game and 12.3 rebounds per contest.

The Broncos (7-5, 1-0) won their fifth game in their last six outings when they downed Utah State, 77-66, on Thursday in their WAC opener.

Matt Nelson led Boise State with 18 points and seven rebounds while Reggie Larry finished with 16 points and six rebounds.
