Brewer looks to lead Florida past Arkansas

Brewer looks to lead the second-ranked Gators to their 13th consecutive home victory Tuesday when they host Arkansas in a Southeastern Conference matchup.
A 6-9 junior, Brewer twice has come close to posting the second triple-double in school history this season. He scored 19 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and collected four assists for Florida in Saturday's 67-51 triumph over Georgia.
Florida's second-leading scorer (13.1), Brewer recorded the school's lone triple-double against Jacksonville on December 18, 2005. He scored 22 points, had nine rebounds and seven assists against Western Kentucky on November 24.
The Gators are looking for their eighth straight victory and open SEC play, 3-0, for the third consecutive campaign.
After back-to-back losses to Texas Tech and Texas in mid-December, Arkansas has won four in a row, including Saturday's 88-61 triumph over Alabama in its SEC opener.
Gary Ervin scored 18 points with 11 assists and Sonny Weems and Patrick Beverly added 18 points apiece for the Razorbacks, who limited the Crimson Tide to 35 percent (22-of-62) shooting.
