Butler hosts Youngstown State in a Horizon League battle

Jan 17, 2007 - 3:01 PM Youngstown St. (8-10) at No. 15 Butler (15-2) 7:00 pm EST

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Four days after getting back on track, Butler looks to improve its already perfect home record.

The 15th-ranked Bulldogs aim to improve to 8-0 at home Wednesday when they host Youngstown State in a Horizon League contest.

Butler (15-2, 3-1) has won 17 straight at home, including Saturday's 62-47 non-conference victory over South Dakota State.

Brandon Crone scored 14 points for the Bulldogs, who won without injured leading scorer A.J. Graves.

Graves, who averages 18.8 points per game and missed Saturday's contest due to oral surgery, is scheduled to return Wednesday against a Youngstown State squad which figures to carry momentum from Saturday's 81-63 triumph over Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Quin Humphrey had 22 points and 11 rebounds to pace the Penguins (8-10, 3-3), who split the season series last year with Butler but are just 2-10 all-time vs. the Bulldogs.
