Texas A&M looks to stay unbeaten in Big 12 action
Jan 24, 2007 - 4:03 PM No. 6 Texas A&M (16-2) at Texas Tech (14-5) 8:00 pm ESTLUBBOCK, Texas (Ticker) -- If Acie Law and Texas A&M want to remain perfect in Big 12 Conference play, they will have to do so against an intra-state rival.
The sixth-ranked Aggies shoot for their 10th straight win Wednesday when they host Texas Tech in a Big 12 match.
Traditionally considered a football powerhouse, Texas A&M (16-2, 4-0 Big 12) is off to its best start since going 16-2 to open the 1959-60 campaign.
The Aggies' leading scorer, Law poured in 16 points in Saturday's 67-49 romp over then-No. 14 Oklahoma State.
The Red Raiders (14-5, 3-1) are coming off a huge upset, Saturday's 69-64 victory over Kansas, which was ranked fifth at the time.
Daryl Dora scored 19 points for Texas Tech, which has lost its last three meetings with the Aggies.
