Saint Mary's rolls past Binghamton 85-57

Dec 30, 2009 - 5:21 AM MORAGA, Calif.(AP) -- Mickey McConnell matched his career high with 24 points, freshman Matthew Dellavedova added 19 and Saint Mary's tied its season high for 3-pointers while beating Binghamton 85-57 in the Shamrock Office Solutions Classic on Monday night.

Omar Samhan added 15 points and nine rebounds for the Gaels (12-2), becoming the sixth player in school history to top the 1,400-point plateau.

McConnell and Dellavedova had five 3-pointers apiece while Saint Mary's made 13 as a team. The Gaels also had 13 3s against San Diego State on Nov. 16.

Greer Wright scored 15 points to lead Binghamton (4-9), which has lost four of its last five.
