Fields paces Stanford to 84-69 win over Oregon

Jan 24, 2010 - 3:36 AM STANFORD, Calif.(AP) -- Landry Fields scored a career-high 32 points and had eight rebounds to lead Stanford to an 84-69 victory over Oregon on Saturday night.

Jeremy Green added 25 points for the Cardinal (10-9, 4-3 Pac-10), who beat the Ducks for the 24th straight time at home. Drew Shiller scored 10 points.

Tajuan Porter scored 16 points to lead Oregon (10-9, 2-5), which lost its fifth straight after a six-game winning streak. Malcolm Armstead had 12 points, and Jeremy Jacob added 11.

Stanford never trailed after the first minute of the game.

Fields sank a leaning jumper in the lane in the closing seconds of the first half to give Stanford a 39-30 advantage at the break.
