Butler looks to bounce back from non-conference loss
Feb 19, 2007 - 7:17 PM No. 15 Butler (24-4) at Wisc Green Bay (16-12) 8:05 pm ESTGREEN BAY, Wisconsin (Ticker) -- After falling in a Bracket Buster game, Butler will return to Horizon League play on Monday.
The Bulldogs (24-4, 11-2 Horizon) visit Wisconsin-Green Bay and try to bounce back from a non-conference loss to Southern Illinois on Saturday as well as a league loss against Wright State.
Wright State knocked Butler out of first place in the Horizon League with a 77-65 victory on February 10. Last Saturday, the Bulldogs lost to Southern Illinois, 68-64.
This will be the second meeting of the season between Butler and the Phoenix. A.J. Graves scored 28 points to lead the Bulldogs to an 80-59 win in the first meeting.
Graves made just 1-of-8 shots and finished with five points in Saturday's loss to the Salukis.
Wisconsin-Green Bay (16-12, 7-7) will try to move above .500 in league play. Mike Schachtner scored 25 points and Ryan Evanochko added 17 in an 82-76 win over Northern Illinois.
