CORAL GABLES, Florida (Ticker) -- Virginia has won nine of its last 10 to move into the top 20.

The Cavaliers (18-7, 9-3 ACC) are also tied atop the Atlantic Coast Conference with North Carolina and will try to stay there when they visit Miami on Wednesday night.

Sean Singletary scored 19 points to lead Virginia to a 73-70 win over Florida State on Saturday.

Singletary and backcourt mate J.R. Reynolds have been carrying the scoring load for the Cavaliers. The two are tied for fourth place in the ACC, averaging 18.4 points per game.

Miami (10-16, 3-9) has lost eight of its last nine games to fall into last place in the ACC.

Virginia posted an 81-70 win over the Hurricanes on February 3. Singletary led the Cavaliers with 22 points and Reynolds added 18.

A strong finish could get the Cavaliers their first ACC regular season title since finishing in a tie for first in the 1994-95 season.
