Quinnipiac's Moore receives contract extension
Apr 30, 2010 - 1:56 AM HAMDEN, Conn.(AP) -- Quinnipiac University has extended the contract of men's basketball coach Tom Moore through the 2015 season.Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
The 44-year-old Moore signed a 5-year, $1.5 million deal after taking over the program in 2007.
He guided the Bobcats to a 23-10 record, the Northeast Conference's regular-season championship, and an NIT berth last season.
Moore's name has been linked to an NCAA investigation into recruiting at Connecticut, where he served as an assistant to Jim Calhoun for 13 years before getting the Quinnipiac job.
