Unbeaten Washington State takes on winless Mississippi Valley State
Nov 24, 2007 - 3:03 PM Miss Valley St (0-5) at No. 9 Washington St (4-0) 3:00 pm ESTPULLMAN, Washington (Ticker) -- Ninth-ranked Washington State take on Mississippi Valley State in the Cougar Hispanic College Fund Classic on Saturday.
The Cougars defeated Montana in the first game of the round robin tournament on Friday, while the Delta Devils lost to Air Force.
Derrick Low is averaging 16.5 points per game for the Cougars, who are at their highest ranking in school history.
Washington State has won all four games by double-digits this season, while Mississippi Valley State has barely been competitive.
Four of the Delta Devils' five losses have been by at least 18 points, as they have failed to score more than 63 points in any of its contests.
Carl Lucas is the lone member of Mississippi Valley State averaging in double figures, scoring 15.0 points per game.
