Vanderbilt goes for 10th straight win

CHICAGO (Ticker) - Vanderbilt goes for its 10th win in as many games this season when it visits DePaul on Wednesday.

The Commodores are off to their best start since the 2003-04 campaign, when they opened the season with 12 straight wins.

Senior Shan Foster and freshman A.J. Ogilvy have been the best scoring duo in the Southeastern Conference so far this season. Foster leads the SEC in scoring at 20.4 points per game, while Ogilvy ranks second at 19.6, including a season-high 26 points in the win against Lipscomb on Saturday.

The Blue Demons have alternated wins and losses this season and are coming off an 84-66 setback at Kansas on Saturday.

Draelon Burns leads DePaul in scoring, averaging 17.0 points, including a pair of 32-point outbursts in November.

Vanderbilt leads the all-time series 1-0, posting a 83-78 victory during the 1964-65 season.
