Texas faces Saint Mary's in top-25 matchup

The Longhorns avoided a third straight loss with a 67-59 victory over TCU on Saturday.
Texas was able to beat TCU despite playing without junior guard A.J. Abrams due to a foot injury. But Abrams, who averages 18.8 points, has been cleared to return for this contest.
The Gaels have won five straight since a 15-point loss at Southern Illinois on December 11.
Freshman guard Patrick Mills leads Saint Mary's in scoring at 16.8 points per game and and assists at 4.1 per contest. Junior forward Diamon Simpson and sophomore center Omar Samhan each average 12.2 points. Simpson averages 9.6 rebounds and Samhan 7.2 per game.
The game is the first between the schools.
