Jan 19, 2008 - 2:55 PM Northwestern (6-8) at No. 17 Wisconsin (14-2) 9:00 pm EST

MADISON, Wisconsin (Ticker) - Wisconsin aims for its 10th straight home win over Northwestern when the Big Ten Conference rivals meet Saturday.

The 17th-ranked Badgers (14-2, 4-0 Big Ten) have won nine straight at home against the Wildcats since 1996 and are riding high on an eight-game winning streak overall.

Wisconsin is giving up just 54.3 points per game and is coming off an 80-55 victory at Penn State on Tuesday, improving to 4-0 in the conference for the third straight season. Senior Michael Flowers scored a season-high 23 points in the victory.

Northwestern (6-8, 0-4) comes in as the only winless team in the conference, dropping all four games by double digits.

The Wildcats are coming off a 65-47 victory at Chicago State on Wednesday, which snapped a four-game losing streak. Craig Moore scored 22 points and Kevin Coble added 19 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists.

The Wildcats, who went 2-14 in the Big Ten last season, have not had a winning record in the Big Ten since the 1967-68 season.
