COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Ticker) -- The recent results suggest another tight game could be in order when No. 23 Texas A&M hosts 10th-ranked Texas in a Big 12 Conference contest on Wednesday.

Texas A&M (16-4, 2-3 Big 12) is coming off a 59-56 victory over Oklahoma State on Saturday to end a thre-game losing streak. The victory was in the first game for the Aggies Texas since a 116-110 five-overtime loss to Baylor.

Junior forward Josh Carter leads Texas A&M, which is 13-1 at home, in scoring at 13.5 points per game. Senior forward Joseph Jones contributes 11.4 points and 5.5 rebounds.

Texas (16-3, 3-1) has won its last three games, including a 73-47 home rout of Texas Tech on Saturday. The Longhorns lead the nation in fewest turnovers per game at 9.7.

Sophomore guard D.J. Augustin leads four starters in scoring at 20.7 points and also averages a team-high 5.9 assists.
