Xavier hopes to continue success against La Salle

The Musketeers (17-4, 5-1 A-10) are 19-4 against the Explorers since the teams joined the conference in 1995-96.
Tied with St. Joseph's atop the conference standings, Xavier is seeking its 10th win in the last 11 games. The Musketeers enter off a 77-65 victory over Massachusetts on Sunday.
Senior guard Drew Lavender leads Xavier's balanced offense at 12.2 points per game, just ahead of junior swingman B.J. Raymond at 11.8.
La Salle (8-11, 3-3) has been playing better of late, winning four its last six games following a five-game losing streak.
