Saint Mary's hosts Gonzaga in WCC showdown

The first-place Bulldogs (17-5, 6-0 WCC) lead the Gaels (18-3, 5-1) and San Diego by a game in the standings. Saint Mary's is coming off a 63-55 loss to the Toreros on Monday.
The Gaels, 12-0 at home, are led offensively by freshman guard Patrick Mills at 14.9 points per game.
The Bulldogs are 8-1 in their last nine games, only losing to top-ranked and undefeated Memphis.
Austin Daye scored 13 of his career-high 22 points in overtime, including the go-ahead basket, as Gonzaga escaped with an 87-82 double-overtime win over Santa Clara on Saturday.
Daye, a freshman forward, leads Gonzaga in scoring at 13.6 points per game.
Gonzaga leads the all-time series, 45-22.
