Texas A&M searches for consistency vs. Nebraska

Feb 23, 2008 - 1:46 PM Nebraska (15-9) at No. 22 Texas A&M (20-6) 4:00 pm EST

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Ticker) - Despite holding a top-25 ranking, Texas A&M has struggled with consistency this season.

The 22nd-ranked Aggies look to break a two-game losing streak Saturday when they hosts Nebraska in a Big 12 Conference clash.

The Aggies (20-6, 6-5 Big 12) raced out to a 15-1 record this season before suffering three straight losses. However, Texas A&M bounced back with a five-game winning streak before dropping each of its last two games.

Texas A&M suffered its second straight loss Monday - a disappointing 77-50 drubbing against cross-state rival Texas. The Aggies made just 30 percent of their shots from the field and made just 1-of-14 3-pointers.

Nebraska (15-9, 4-7) picked up its biggest win of the season on Wednesday, posting a decisive 71-64 triumph over No. 25 Kansas State.

Steve Harley poured in a season-high 20 points to lead the Cornhuskers, who snapped a two-game skid.
