Nov 25, 2006 - 4:00 PM No. 20 Nevada (4-0) at Santa Clara (2-1) 10:00 pm EST

SANTA CLARA, California (Ticker) -- The key for Nevada's success has been its accuracy from long distance.

The 20th-ranked Wolf Pack look to win their seventh consecutive road game and remain undefeated Saturday when they face Santa Clara for the first time in nearly four years.

Coming off last season's 27-6 campaign, Nevada is hitting nearly 49 percent (36-of-74) from the arc and averaging 81.2 points, while limiting its opponents to 59 points. The Wolf Pack made 11-of-19 3-pointers in Tuesday's 83-64 victory over Cal-Irvine.

Two-time Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year Nick Fazekas posted double-doubles in each game this season and is averaging 24.3 points and 14.8 rebounds. He tied a season-high with 29 points and grabbed 15 boards Tuesday.

Marcelus Kemp made 9-of-18 shots and scored 23 points and Kyle Shiloh had 15 for the Wolf Pack, who committed just eight turnovers.

Santa Clara opened with victories over Holy Names and Utah before scoring a season low in points in Monday's 73-48 loss to California.

Sean Denison made 8-of-15 shots and scored 15 points to finish as Santa Clara's lone player in double figures. The Broncos hit just 33 percent (22-of-66) from the floor, including 2-of-18 3-pointers.

Nevada has won three of the last four meetings against Santa Clara, but has not won here in eight contests, dating to December 15, 1980.
