Morgan, Michigan State take on Wichita State

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Florida (Ticker) -- Sixth-ranked Michigan State will try and win its second straight game when it takes on Wichita State in a consolation contest at the Old Spice Classic on Sunday.

The Spartans bounced back from their first loss, an 80-62 setback to Maryland, to defeat Oklahoma State, 90-74, on Friday.

After battling foul trouble and scoring just four points in the loss to Maryland, Raymar Morgan netted 29 in Friday's win to lead Michigan State.

The junior forward is scoring 19 points per contest and sophomore Kalin Lucas is averaging 12 points and 6.5 assists for the Spartans.

Wichita State bounced back from an opening-round loss to Georgetown to defeat Siena, 72-70, on Friday.

Clevin Hannah scored 19 points and Toure' Murry added 18 for the Shockers, who took a 68-66 lead on J.T. Durley's layup with 1:20 remaining.

Kenny Hasbrouck had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds for Siena, but missed his driving layup.
