LAKE BUENA VISTA, Florida (Ticker) -- Maryland and 16th-ranked Georgetown will each attempt to bounce back from their respective first losses when the schools meet in a consolation game in the Old Spice Classic on Sunday.

The Terrapins upset sixth-ranked Michigan State in the opening round before they were soundly defeated, 81-59, by No. 10 Gonzaga on Friday.

Greivis Vasquez scored 16 points and was the only Maryland player in double figures in the loss. The Terrapins made just 1-of-13 from the arc. The junior guard is averaging 20 points per game.

Georgetown defeated Wichita State in the opening round of the tournament before it suffered a 90-78 setback to 12th-ranked Tennessee on Friday.

The Hoyas allowed 55.0 points over their first three contests but could not slow down the quicker, more athletic Volunteers, who made 10-of-16 from the arc.

Chris Wright scored 18 points in the setback and is one of four Hoyas averaging in double figures. Freshman Greg Monroe is scoring 15 points per contest to lead Georgetown.
