Purdue should get back on track

WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana (Ticker) -- After a pair of losses, No. 10 Purdue hopes to get back on track when it hosts winless Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday.

The Boilermakers suffered their first defeat, 87-82, in overtime against No. 6 Oklahoma on November 28 before they were stifled by No. 4 Duke on Tuesday.

Purdue shot just 37 percent (22-of-59), including 2-of-13 from the arc as Duke posted a 76-60 victory on the road.

E'Twaun Moore leads four players in double figures for the Boilermakers at 15.7 points per game.

The Golden Lions have played all six of their games on the road and have yet to be competitive. They have lost by an average of 29.3 points.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff suffered its most lopsided defeat, a 95-41 setback at Missouri on Tuesday.

The team from the Southwestern Athletic Conference does not have a player averaging in double figures. Terrance Calvin leads the team at 9.7 points per contest.
