Jerel McNeal scored 20 points and James had 18 for the Golden Eagles, who will open Big East Conference play on Thursday against No. 16 Villanova.

Wesley Matthews leads Marquette in scoring at 19.1 points per game.

Presbyterian has dropped two straight games and is coming off a 75-56 setback to South Carolina on Tuesday.

The Blue Hose are led by Al'Lonzo Coleman, who is averaging 15.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.
