SOUTH BEND, Indiana (Ticker) -- Notre Dame will look to avoid its second upset early in the Big East schedule when it hosts Seton Hall Saturday.

The 13th-ranked Fighting Irish (11-3, 2-1 Big East), who were knocked off by St. John's, 71-65, last Saturday, bounced back with an impressive win over No. 10 Georgetown. Luke Harangody put in another dominant performance, collecting 31 points and 10 rebounds in a 73-67 victory.

Last season's Conference Player of the Year, Harangody is averaging 24.1 points and 12.4 rebounds this season.

Kyle McAlarney is contributing 16.4 points per contest while sinking 45 percent from 3-point range. Ryan Ayers and Tory Jackson are adding a shade under 12 points a game.

Notre Dame begins the toughest section of its Big East schedule after its meeting with the Pirates, facing five straight ranked opponents and eight in 10 games.

Seton Hall (9-6, 0-3) has lost five of six after an 8-1 start, including three consecutive defeats to start the conference season. The Pirates forced overtime before losing to No. 17 Villanova, 89-85, on Tuesday.

Jeremy Hazell had 26 points in the contest. The sophomore continues to lead Seton Hall with 23.1 points a game, which ranks second in the Big East behind Harangody.
