Kansas hopes to stay unbeaten in Big 12

COLUMBIA, Missouri (Ticker) -- Kansas has saved its best basketball of the season for Big 12 Conference games. However, Missouri has been more than formidable on its home court.

The 16th-ranked Jayhawks hope to stay unbeaten in conference play when they visit the No. 19 Tigers on Monday.

Winners of eight straight, Kansas (19-4, 8-0 Big 12) is coming off a 78-67 victory over Oklahoma State on Saturday.

Mario Little scored 13 points in the win and Cole Aldrich added 12 and 18 rebounds as Kansas improved to 14-0 on its home floor.

Sherron Collins also scored 12 points and leads the defending champions in scoring at 18 per contest.

Missouri (20-4, 7-2) is also 14-0 at home this season and has won seven of its past eight overall.

The Tigers finished up an impressive week with an 82-68 victory at Iowa State on Saturday. Missouri knocked off No. 17 Texas on Wednesday.

DeMarre Carroll scored a season-high 31 points in the win over the Cyclones and the senior leads the team in scoring at 17.3 per contest.

Kansas has won the last five meetings.
