Gonzaga finishes regular season with USC Upstate
Mar 3, 2009 - 3:19 PM USC Upstate (9-20) at No. 14 Gonzaga (23-5), 9:00 p.m. ESTSPOKANE, Washington (Ticker) -- After completing a perfect season in the West Coast Conference, No. 14 Gonzaga wraps up its regular-season schedule against USC Upstate on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs have won six straight games and finished 14-0 in the WCC to win their ninth straight regular-season conference title.
Matt Bouldin scored 15 points to lead four players in double figures in Gonzaga's 58-47 victory over San Diego on Saturday. Josh Heytvelt leads Gonzaga in scoring at 15.3 points per contest.
USC Upstate of the Atlantic Sun Conference comes in on a two-game winning streak after Saturday's 80-51 triumph over Kennesaw State.
Nick Schneiders had 20 points and seven blocks and Josh Chavis scored 16 in the win. Bobby Davis leads the team in scoring at 14.6 per contest.
