Evans paces No. 25 James Madison to win
Dec 30, 2009 - 2:40 AM HARRISONBURG, Va.(AP) -- Dawn Evans scored 27 points and had 12 assists to lead No. 25 James Madison to an 86-54 win over Lafayette on Tuesday night in the semifinals of the JMU Invitational.Tarik Hislop added 15 points for the Dukes (9-1), who outrebounded Lafayette 38-19 and shot 57.6 percent from the floor. Nichelle Glover had 11 points and seven rebounds
The Leopards (2-10) led 17-15 with 9:40 left in the first period, but James Madison went on an 8-2 run to take the lead for good.
Lauren Jackson led Lafayette with 17 points. LaKeisha Wright added 11 and Melissa Downey had 10.
